For privacy questions or to request deletion of information you sent to Soloop support, email suoyi2022@gmail.com. If you contact support, we receive your email address and what you include in the message so we can respond. Please leave recordings and transcripts out of your message.

Soloop uses the microphone when you start a recording. Recording does not require a Soloop account. Audio, titles, tags, manually entered locations, time markers and transcripts are stored on the device.

Transcription, transfer and sharing

• On-device transcription uses an offline speech model. If your device has no offline model for the selected language, Soloop displays a notice. It does not automatically switch to an online service.
• You may configure a custom HTTPS transcription service. Soloop sends the full audio for a selected recording only after you confirm the destination and choose to send. The recipient's own terms govern how it handles the audio. To remove a saved key, delete it in Soloop settings while its service URL is still configured, then clear the URL.
• Apple Watch sends saved recordings to its paired iPhone. The Watch keeps the pending copy until the iPhone confirms it has saved the recording.
• The system share menu sends the selected audio or text to the destination you choose. The receiving app or service controls its copy.

Purchases, backups and deletion

• The App Store processes purchases and restores. Soloop does not send recordings as part of those operations.
• Soloop asks the system to exclude the phone's recording library and pending Watch audio from backups. The system manages actual backup and restore behavior.
• Deleting a recording removes it from Soloop's local library and keeps a deletion marker to prevent late Watch transfers from restoring that entry. Manage copies you previously exported at their destination.
• Soloop does not include an analytics SDK.
